I made these earrings trying to mix up the rainbow of colours I have collected and while watching an episode of Fraggles, I noticed they are the same colour as one of my fav little friends Lou Fraggle. Every time I look at them I can hear her and poor befuddled Wembley conversing :3
Our band of happy humans have had a very long tiring day. We woke up at 8:30 this morning to be at the hospital by 9:30 There was a wait of at least 2 hours before we could see some-one It gave us time to acclimatise to the heat!
When we saw the Dr. I may have had what ever the opposite of Nightingale Syndrome is - to fall in love with the Dr/Nurse instead of the other way around, not to hate him with a burning passion like Penny guessed when I said this to her and Allan XD
I was so relieved to finally hear some-one say some-thing along the lines of "Oh my goodness, they are large, they need to come out a.s.a.p., my dear they are large - did I mention they are large?" rather than the usual "eh, they're not really worth it." or "I'm not really sure."
So there was passion but not in the way that was suggested, so much so that I am a 'Level 2 Patient' which apparently means I go on the list that should only take 3-6 months instead of a year and that when I am under, after the OP, I have a nurse all to myself making sure I don't stop breathing. I feel speacial! :D
Toby has also informed us that he likes "Penny's new house, can we come too?!" And "Can we get a doggy now?!" <3
I have been having lots of fun making earrings over the past week. I have a need to make items that have a piratey/oceanic feel, I really love that I can easily go between the roughly hammered bold colours and the sha-shing of the silver with the second pair :o)
In home news, our little band of humans, kitties and the bath tub of goldfish may be moving to a new-to-us house! Penny and I have had a look and on Tuesday we are taking Allan and Toby to see it too; the agent we are working with is awesome! She responds to all our calls and is the only person I have met that would let some-one view a house more than once :O
I wish I had more photo's to show you but we will have to do with the one from the real estate site for now. Boooo.

Recently we have discovered the TMNT from 2001 - Toby is running around singing "I love being a Turtle!" Every now and then he changes the lyric to "I love being a Pokemon Trainer!" I don't know if my sides can last the evening >_<
Again my focus was taken away and then came surging back with a need to create and distract. I don't know how people with children manage to do so much and care for their little ones but much insane love to them!
Our Toby had a good Fathers Day, Daddy was at work through most of it but it did mean a special visit to Grandpa's home in the evening together after doing a bit of crafting for them both in the afternoon :o)
A belated Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddies out there!
I disappeared for a while and I apologise, even if I was the only one listening I still need to say it to help me pull myself out of the pillow fort I tried to make around myself over the past month.
To be honest with every-one I have bouts of depression and at the beginning of last month it was like being hit by a run away train...then a few days ago I received a gift in the form of a people mover (or mini bus if you prefer) taking out my legs.
That one was less of a lie you out flat and more of a wake up to how much hiding I had been doing and it made me take in how much happier I am when I doing things, not just little things here and there but bigger things that can distract my brain from thinking repetitively. Big things that help me get up in the morning, make me want to share my life with my little Toby more and makes me open up to how much I have missed having lunch with my beloved Allan when he is working.
Here I have a few photo's I just took, braving the cold now that the Spring it starting to show itself in the form of pink plum blossoms all through the streets of where we live!
Well, this one is in my part-time house mates bedroom, but how could I not share this with you! When our Penny went away to Bristle to visit her brother, I had to think of something that incorporated her love for our house and England... While watching 'Winter Winds' by Mumford & Sons (whom I am obsessed with)
I thought to my-self "How lovely is the bunting?" to which I replied "absolutely gorgeous!" And thus this was born...
And here is our Penny modelling the hood I made for her to show off all the beautiful colours she picked out...
Here we have the delicious "Purple Pudding Cake of Death" that our part time house mate made for a friends going away dinner. Both these photo's were rushed from excitement... Excitement from hunger and excitement from new shinies :)
I have a job! This is very exciting since for a long time I have had issues with depression and Agoraphobia making me unfit for any job out of the house. The beautiful Becca of Matahari has agreed to let me work with her and the other ladies at times when it is comfortable for me e.g. when Toby is at Kinder - a short skip down the street. She is paying me with Store Credit (fine by me) and this is the first item I have brought home with me; a shiny beaded silky quilt! I am so Happy ^_^
