A Happy Birthday...

Tomorrow is our friend Miss Z's birthday and what do you do when you can't find something Perfect and you only have Two days? You make a specialised Doll of course!

Please to meet 'The Devious Miss Davina' - named for the gorgeous Davina (David Tennant) from 'Rab. C. Nesbitt'

Pretty blue eyes and long flowing brown curls with sweet Mary-Jane's.

We are trying to give her things that are cute but useful or warm for an upcoming trip so I decided to make Davina into a Phone/Note holder - vis Emily Martin's 'Helpful Hannah Doll'

I have made the hair out of different lengths of yarn rather than being straight across at the back for a more little girl playing in the rough look. :)

Playing around...

My Toby went to his Nanna's house today, he will be there for about 5 days...he couldn't wait to leave, nearly kicked me out of the car when they dropped me off after lunch. XD

They both had to come in for a quick refreshment before their long drive (I live in Melbounre and she is in Gippsland) I wouldn't let him leave with out a hug and a kiss and as he cuddled me bye bye he said "Don't worry mummy, daddy will be here to keep you company."

He's four.

I love that child like the moon loves the waves in the ocean!

Went onto Flickr as a naughty, naughty distraction from the fact that I really should be in bed :)
I was thinking Faeries, moss, owl, home, love, passion, poly, fire and it all came together as this...

A Rainy Winters Day...

Allan, my husband, wanted to try out the new silicon bake ware and I wanted to make Heart shaped Cupcakes so we easily came to the agreement to buy some silicon patty pans as a test (we already know they make a great substitute for the mini metal pans when making chocolate) but today is over cast and raining quite heavily

and our house has never been the best place for indoor photography, so I think instead of baking right now, I will wait for some sunshine so I can share our creations and in the mean time focus on having some afternoon tea and maybe doing some knitting whilst rugged up under a blanket. ^_^

New Toys!

Here are the new-to-me printing stamps that I purchased via the wonderful Becca of Matahari!
I adore the wee rooster but my favourite of the two has to be the happy duck, it captures that wonderful cheerfulness that ducks are known for! :D

Also, the two new editions to my store, so much fun putting cuffs and other accessories together, please enjoy!

Could you please tell me if these photos look too dark on your screen?

So much to do, so much to do!

Had lots of running around to do today, I ran out of light for any outdoors photo's I had planned in the back of my mind but while my little man Toby and I sat down for Juice and Hand Rolls, I remembered that the camera was in my bag - not a concept I am used to yet - and asked for a big smile!

One of our many tasks was taking samples of my wares into the lovely Becca of Matahari, one of my favourite local stores, she and her comrade were very pleased and I look forward to seeing her again. ^_^

It's just past twelve and I don't want to go to bed!

I am making an attempt to renew my Etsy store and have made this blog to go with it since LJ is so disagreeable. *wags finger at it*

I thought a sample of what have I have popped up today and a sneak preview of what I plan to put up over the next fortnight, yes?

Here you go my lovelies!
