I loved making hoop hook style of earrings and I find them (the style, not the earrings for sale) very comfortable to wear, here is hoping I'm not the only one! ;o)

I'm Home!

My family and I have moved house, made an attept at unpacking, and re-done our kitchen to suit our needs. I am extremely happy living in a house that is ours. No more rent going towards some-one elses home loan, no more having to consult every time you would like to make an improvement to the property (like when all the tiles started to fall off the walls in the heat of summer a few years back!) and no more landlords scowling at my family of another species :D

I have been putting off making this post because I want ed to show of where I am living, but due to the cameras lack of battery power and the rain there are no photos to show off.

I have been putting off buying printable fabric for around a year now, I don't know why, maybe I feel poor every time I go to order it! What ever the reasons I am determined to find some now and make the small creatures pottering about in my head...they are mostly hedgehogs XP

Getting On With Things...

I have been putting off making a post until I found the leaflet from my Grandfathers funeral (which has been dubbed "The Pamphlet of The Dead" Yes, yes, I am very tasteful.)

It had the text and photo from what I thought was his passport but turns out to be some kind of Visa, he moved to Australia from Italy when he was about 23, he always knew he wanted to work with trains and never told any-one when he was in extreme pain, mental or physical.
My gift to him at his funeral was a little make-up, no nail polish and a full length skirt, I would like to think that I am the Lady that he always thought I was, but with my own special modern spin ;o)

A fortnight after we suffered his loss I had two new wonderful people come into my life and they introduced me to Raverly. Among the projects I have going on at the moment, I have started to make this scarf for my-self. It is very rare that I want to make clothing just for me, I look forward to completing this with added hood so I will have a little Scoodie all of my own!
